Holorun is a startup company founded in Costa Mesa, CA, which is now based out of the UCI Beall Applied Innovation @COVE.
Our goal is to revolutionize the way users interact with technology by turning screens into holograms. While immersive technology has come far, none have succeeded in allowing the average user to display digital images in our world for daily recreational purposes. We aim to change that.
We are using the same principles as projector technology for the holographic display. However, instead of projecting the images onto screens or walls, we are utilizing microscopic particles as surfaces for the images to be projected on. They will be suspended using “optical tweezers,” which will use light to hold the particles in place. This holographic technology is called Volume of Display (VoD).

TETRAH (Technology, Three Dimension, Artificial Intelligence, Hologram) will be capable of:
-Providing an AI assistant to allow users to connect and interact with data in 3 dimensions.
-Displaying both 2D & 3D graphics and our own custom 3D web browser app.
-Connecting to your smart phone to share and interact with data.
